Pushrank connector for Claude

Last updated: 9 October 2026

The Pushrank connector lets Claude work on your Pushrank projects directly from a conversation: review Search Console data and SEO opportunities, manage keywords, generate articles and publish them to your website. It is a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server secured with OAuth, so you sign in with your Pushrank account and choose what Claude is allowed to do.

1. Requirements

  • A Pushrank account with at least one project. The connector only exposes projects of the organisations you belong to.
  • A Claude plan that supports connectors (claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude mobile or Claude Code), or any other client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth.
  • Some actions consume Pushrank credits (article generation, page reanalysis). Claude reports the cost before running them.

2. Connect Pushrank to Claude

From the directory
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, find Pushrank and select Connect. Sign in to Pushrank and approve the requested permissions.
As a custom connector
In Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector, name it Pushrank and enter the URL https://ai.pushrank.io/mcp. Then select Connect and approve the permissions in Pushrank.
Claude Code
Run claude mcp add --transport http pushrank https://ai.pushrank.io/mcp, then type /mcp in Claude Code to sign in.
Other MCP clients
Add a remote MCP server with the URL https://ai.pushrank.io/mcp. The server supports OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, so no API key is needed.

Once connected, ask for example: “What are my best SEO opportunities this week?” or “Write an article on my top keyword and show me the draft before publishing.”

3. What Claude can do

Account and projects
Show your identity, credit balances and projects, with an overview of each project.
Search Console and opportunities
Read the retained Google Search Console data, the weekly digest and computed SEO opportunities (quick wins, low CTR, cannibalization, decay…), and update their status.
Keywords
List enriched keywords with volume, difficulty and intent, read cached metrics, add keywords or change their status.
Articles
List and read articles, check generation readiness, generate an article from a keyword or a content-plan item, follow its progress, edit it and track its performance once published.
Publication
Check publication readiness, publish to WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Framer or a custom webhook, schedule or cancel a publication, and manage the automatic publishing cadence.
Project setup
Read and edit the business profile and editorial context, connect a CMS, rerun the SEO analysis of a page, and follow the onboarding checklist.

4. Permissions

When you connect, Pushrank asks which permissions to grant. Reading is always included; every write permission is optional and can be refused.

5. Safeguards

  • Every write tool works in two steps: Claude first shows a preview, and the change is only applied after you confirm.
  • Publication goes through Pushrank's quality gate. An article that fails it is not published unless you explicitly acknowledge the failure, and scheduled publications never bypass it.
  • Credit-consuming actions report their cost before they run.
  • CMS secrets are write-only: Pushrank never sends passwords, Google tokens or CMS credentials back through the connector.
  • Edits use version checks, so a change made elsewhere in the meantime is never silently overwritten.

6. Data and privacy

An authorized connection can access the Pushrank identity, project names and URLs, SEO actions, keywords, articles, editorial context, credit balances and stored Search Console performance data available to your account. Tool inputs and responses are only used to answer your request or perform the action you confirm.

Pushrank sends the requested data to the client you authorize, such as Claude operated by Anthropic. That provider may process and retain it under its own privacy policy.

Access tokens last up to one hour and refresh tokens up to 30 days. Search Console snapshots are retained for up to 90 days. Project data stays in your Pushrank account until you delete it. Details are in our privacy policy at pushrank.io/privacy-policy.

7. Disconnect

Disconnect Pushrank from Claude's connector settings, or revoke the authorization from your Pushrank account settings under MCP access. Revocation stops any future access; data already sent to a client is managed with that provider.
